Her Son’s Hair ‘Breaks All The Rules’ And Now She Can’t Find A School

Children often face challenges that prevent them from attending school, whether due to personal choices or institutional policies. Such situations can be quite upsetting, especially when the school system isn’t accommodating.

This is precisely the case for eight-year-old Farouk James from London. Farouk has a Caucasian mother and a Ghanaian father. Respecting his father’s wishes, Farouk’s mother didn’t cut his hair until he was three years old. However, they didn’t anticipate that his hair would continue to grow so abundantly.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Farouk’s mother shared that while they initially delayed cutting his hair, they never expected it to grow as much as it did.

Farouk’s mother, referred to as Miller, has been tirelessly searching for a school for her son. Unfortunately, many schools have strict policies that do not allow Farouk’s hairstyle. This has made it difficult to find a school that will accept him…
