Homeless Couple Lives In Tent And Refuses Work Saying It Isn’t For Them

In many people’s estimates, one of the toughest situations in life is being without a home. Homelessness is a challenge that impacts a significant number of individuals, but not everyone views it as a hardship.

This includes a couple who are living on the streets with a unique outlook. They claim that the street lifestyle is a choice and that they rely on hotels and donations to get by.

After sharing their perspective on homelessness, this couple, Leland Brown Jr. and Breanna, have attracted considerable attention. They hail from Hatfield, Pennsylvania, and prefer to describe their situation as houselessness rather than homelessness.

Breanna elaborated on their unique survival skills and the hardships they faced living on the streets. Many have commented on their situation, with Leland noting that homelessness often carries a negative stigma.

They spent quite a while living on the street before eventually setting up a GoFundMe to help them make ends meet, though it wasn’t particularly successful. After posting a video online, reactions poured in, both supportive and critical. Some emphasized the importance of financial stability, while others spoke about personal choices and the need to live one’s own life.

Another individual shared their own experience with homelessness, noting that it becomes less appealing as one ages.

This couple, however, chose to live simply and aim to achieve their financial goals quickly. By living within their means now, they believe they can secure a better future for their son, who is very important to them.

After being evicted, they moved into the woods and began living in tents. Although their shelter was damaged by heavy snow, kind-hearted individuals stepped in to replace their tents and provide them with proper accommodations.

Older videos reveal that Leland had previously worked in a hotel and McDonald’s, and that they had lived in a house. They state that they are not planning on getting a job at this point, believing that they are too smart for it.
