Couple Met On Dating App When She Was Already Pregnant, When She Went Into Labor He Did Something She Didn’t See Coming

A young Australian mother, Alyssa Jane from Queensland, recently shared the extraordinary experience of her Tinder date, Max, being by her side during the birth of their son, Ollie, after just four dates. The heartwarming story unfolded when Alyssa, 20 years old, found herself going into labor only eight weeks into her relationship with Max, whom she had met through the dating app.

Alyssa narrated the unexpected turn of events in a TikTok video, explaining that she was supposed to pick Max up from the airport after a work trip when her waters broke. In the midst of the unforeseen situation, she texted Max, informing him that she was stuck at the hospital. Max’s immediate response was filled with unwavering commitment: “Okay, the second I get home, I’m going to unpack, and I’m going to come visit you.”
Amidst Alyssa’s challenging week of contractions, Max went above and beyond, taking the entire week off work to stay with her. Alyssa’s mother was away on holiday at the time, making Max an even more crucial source of support during a significant and stressful period. The intensity heightened when Alyssa had to undergo an emergency C-section, with Max anxiously waiting outside the operating theater.

Max’s dedication continued beyond the birth, as he took an additional week off work to be with Alyssa in the post-natal ward, navigating the complexities of parenthood together, especially as Ollie required care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Remarkably, every time they entered the NICU, the nurses assumed Max was the father, a testament to the depth of his involvement and support.

In Alyssa’s words, “I was 19 and had a newborn baby, and I had no clue what I was doing, and Max stayed with me and he learned with me. He didn’t know either, but he learned everything with me, so when I was learning to change nappies, he was too.”
Alyssa has chronicled her journey with Ollie and Max on TikTok, amassing a massive following and millions of views. Viewers have been captivated by Max’s commitment, with some even affirming, “The nurses called it; he’s definitely the dad.” The heartwarming comments poured in, expressing sentiments like, “Can we all share Max?!
